Don't even bother going anywhere else! I've been going to Bovan's for all repairs and maintenance for the last 4 years. They are trustworthy (yes really!) and never try to make you do more repairs than what you actually need. They always have my car done way faster than I expect and the customer service is terrific! Suzzette is a sweetheart and always responds to any questions quickly.

this place is really scummy. definitely taking advantage of people. they charged almost $200 for JUST an oil change. they overcharged for the filter by more than double and they charged PER quart of oil--$15.99--which is insane. who in their right mind charges what these people do and gets away with it ? take your business elsewhere and save yourself from being screwed on every service they do. crazy.

My experiences with Bovan's Auto services has been a positive one. knowing I needed some work done on my Camry XLE, the option was either to go back to a Toyota dealership hearing some negative feedback by others, or to try an independent service .I decided on a local auto mechanic and found " Bovan's Auto Services" . Boy am I glad I did. I found Bovan Phillips to be very knowledgeable and efficient. The initial inspection was the best I had ever received, with photographs of the areas of the car that needed current attention and possible future attention. His prices were very reasonable and he could work on your car ASAP. One perk I discovered was that they have a courtesy car service and will drop you home and pick you up. I took advantage of this right away .In another occasion they solved my problem the the same day with the same courtesy they always extend .When you get to speak with Bovan Phillips , it will be apparent he knows his stuff.

I am always questionable about mechanics, I really needed help and I have gone through roughly 5 mechanics in the last few months for suspension, oil changes, mechanical issues and I have been trying to find the most sincere spot that is true to their work. I was in need of help for my car, called, easily scheduled a time that was convenient. They helped me make it affordable. I made sure to check and see if they would sneak some unnecessary maintenance, they passed wholeheartedly. They really just want to do business and have it be solid so they can sleep well at night. I will be using them more often. This is where I want to go and I only write this so people who are also questionable about trusting others with your car, Bovans is a place I am confident to get the job done well and to be helpful and relaxing.

I had a pre purchase inspection done at Bovan's. I chose to travel to this shop because they offer digital inspection, which I've had good experiences with in the past. I like being able to reference the inspection photos and written report/notes so I can keep closer track of what needs to be watched or taken care of soon, especially with a used car. Another shop quoted me less than half their price for an inspection, but I decided it was worth it for the advantages. The photos in the inspection were clear, and I have no reason to believe the inspection was anything other than thorough. My disappointment is with the lack of notes or verbal feedback. The report noted a couple items that needed attention, but otherwise everything was listed as "good". No comment on the thickness of the brake pads or whether they're worn evenly, tire treads, or any other fluid or component. No comments on degree of rusting. No mention of a test drive. Sure, someone with knowledge of cars could look at the photos and draw their own conclusions, but a simple note would have gone a long way. Even a brief verbal summary from the mechanic would have been better than nothing.

Excellent service. I had no luck from the dealership is fixing my truck due to the needed parts being discontinued. I went to my local mechanic, followed by Pep Boys and both were unable to solve the issue. I tried Bovan's due to the great reviews. Phillip had it fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Would highly recommend.

I think the shop lacks customer service and understanding of the issues the customer is talking about. Over the phone, I asked if two repairs required is performed by the shop or not. I know exactly what’s wrong with the car and just asked if they perform those services and if the parts would be an issue. Their only response is to bring the car in. I am okay with bringing the car in and potentially having other issues that might need to be looked at/resolved. But the two issues I know for a fact that need repair, they wouldn’t discuss it and if they actually perform or can order those parts for them. It seems they just push to get the car in and charge the diagnostic fee. Which, again, I’m okay with. But they will not say if they do specific repairs. What if I bring or have my car towed in, and they then say they don’t perform these two repairs? I’d be paying for towing there and back in addition to the diagnostic fee? No thank you. What’s more problematic is their attitude on their phone. You can talk in a quiet, calm tone but they would still respond in a passive aggressive manner and talk down on you. I’d say pass on from this shop. Edit: replying to the shop, I did confirm what parts are needed. They were very basic and nothing that requires a special order. If a window is missing, for example, you know you’d need a new window. Why should someone bring the car in this case? Just so you’d tell me it needs a window and then charge me a diagnostic fee? You declined to check if parts are available in the first place. You declined to talk about it over the phone. You declined to just talk politely to people over the phone, and were dismissive. I’d hoped this would be my go-to place. I’m glad it wasn’t.

Stay away from this workshop! Ridiculously expensive and not very honest/transparent people. They charged me $200 for diagnostics which is too much compared to most places. Then he said the compressor needed to be replaced for the AC to work and he was going to charge me $1,500 for that. When I asked for the price of parts and labor they said it’s a wholesome price and he can’t give me that information which didn’t sound very honest to me. Decided to leave and went to another place, my compressor was perfectly fine and they fixed my AC for $125. I’m so glad I left that place. Responding to your comment: You didn't provide any digital pictures to me at all. You replied over a text saying what was the cost of everything, and if I agreed to it. Since it was so expensive I called you to ask why was it so expensive and if you could detail the price of labor and parts to me. Policy or not, the fact that you can't provide me an itemized quote for the repair just proves that you can charge me whatever you want without the fear of me ever comparing your prices with your competition or simply seeing if your labor/part prices are fair...not to mention that by this point, you have taken $200 from me already, that is dishonest and I would not recomment your shop to anyone!

Very expensive! I was charged $99.14 as a diagnostic fee. Most places charge $50.00. Also they wanted to charge me $1000.00 to replace 3 hoses. I ran out of there and went to the gulf station and got the job done for $500.00. Bovan would not tell me the price of parts and insisted it was an all inclusive price.

Mr. Bovan is very direct and courteous. His work and honesty are unquestionable. Have had 2 cars serviced there. Prices are reasonable and location is close to bus services in case you're leaving your car there for the day.

Even you do tell them what issue your car has and all the information needed, they still ask for you to do an extra visit to tell you how much things cost. They try to get you hooked this way but guess what that is not a straight way of working by wasting people time so they leave their car because they already made a trip.

Apparently the people answering the phone think I have all the time in the world to come down to their shop in order to receive an estimate. I already have the info about my tire and my vin, so why can't you give me a price over the phone like any other shop in the area? Tire changes are not complicated and overall I feel like Bovan's is trying to waste my time and make up a price. Cost of the tire, cost of your labor per hour, nothing else. Goodbye!

Their service was awesome! Rather than going to the big chains or the dealer, I went to Bovan's for my granddaughter's car repair. They were local, very reasonable, did great work and honest. It pays to go local. I would use them again.

After a lot of digging this was one of the best rated shops that I found near my new home. Went ahead and booked an appointment for my oil light pressure light. Dropped it off on Monday and got it back on Wednesday. They have this website that txts you and shows you the updates on your vehicle. Pretty neat. Got to speak with the tech and he suggested what he thought would help at first and even had a follow up suggestion in case that it didn't work. Went ahead with it and so far no issues. It's only been a day but I'll update if needed. My only complaint was that they did have my car for three days and the first day I didn't get an update. I think they were short staffed so I understood. Very professional all around. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be going back.

With an older car high mileage car, going to a mechanic can be nerve-racking. They gave me a detailed list of needed and recommended repairs plus some proactive maintenance recommendations. It was very easy to make an appointment and I received prompt updates via text and phone, that helped easy my anxiety with getting my car serviced after the battery failed. They are an exceptional trustworthy and reliable garage. They even offer financing, which is a comfort in case if larger repairs. They are a great business with excellent customer service. PPI - performed for an out of state customer Whoa - i nearly gave this place a bad rating until i found out it was user error as i thought they had only provided me a print out DTCs. Which was surprising as a previous rater said they got a detailed report with pictures. After getting just the DTC i had multiple calls with questions, until the mechanic was like you see in the picture (hold up what picture?!?!?). I had failed to click on the link in the email (only looked at the attachments). From the link i got a bunch of pictures and videos, verbiage on what they found and the DTC report. I went from not wanting the car to now arranging to purchase it. Thank you Suzzette and the Bovan team!!!!

I enlisted Bovan's assistance in inspecting a 2004 Jaguar xjr that I planned on purchasing. I found the service to be top notch and professional. They gave the car a thorough inspection including a test drive. Provided pictures of all relevant areas both pro and con and provided a full report at a very reasonable price. First time here and very satisfied with Bovan's Auto service and highly recommend. Went here to diagnose and fix coolant leak on my 2014 Jaguar F-Type. They provided complete diagnostics report with pictures that showed the problems. They also provided itemized estimate of the Parts & Labor, and fixed the problem thoroughly. My car is running great now. They also provided 2 years/24000 miles warranty on the parts. Definitely going back for my next auto service.

I smoothly drove my car in for a diagnostic on why I -SOMETIMES got a Service AWD light. My appointment was on a Monday AM and I did not hear from the shop until Wednesday evening when I CALLED. Unhappy as I was, I took my car from the shop to find my car did not drive well. They messed up with my transmission. My guess, they knew it was under warranty and they wanted to do unnecessary expensive work. Unethical.

The oil change was good and service was very fast They always do a great job with my car ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This repair shop is the best that I have ever been to! Theqy do great work at a reasonable price. I had my water pump and timing belt replaced. Also they checked out my entire car and there are no surprises they informed me at every step. A complete inspection with photos. I will definitely be going back there for future repairs. This is my second repair and it was fantastic to finally get air conditioning in my car! My car is quite old and the AC hasn’t blown cold air like this in years. Thanks again for a great repair!
